Support Your Trail
Sonoma Overlook Trail is a nearly 3 mile walking path set onto the hillside backdrop for the the City of Sonoma. Generous contributions from members of the community just like you make this trail available to everyone – please lend your support!
Sonoma Overlook Trail Stewards, in partnership with the City of Sonoma and the Sonoma Ecology Center, have the primary responsibility for stewardship of this wonderful natural resource. Trained docents knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and history of the trail are available to guide private groups.
Sonoma Overlook Trail is open to the public for walking during daylight hours and Docent-led hikes are available on many weekends
There is a diverse array of native plants and animals along the gentle grade trail and spectacular views of the town of Sonoma, the Sonoma Valley and the Bay Area can be found in the meadow at the peak of the trail.
