In the spirit of Martin Luther King’s vision of a healthy and connected community, join us for a day of community action at the one and only Sonoma Garden Park, located southeast of downtown Sonoma. Give back to our favorite community gathering place and public park by helping out with tasks in the winter garden.

Our “Give Back to Your Garden” volunteer day is part of the MLK Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Take a tour of the garden, then help trim raspberries, prune and paint fruit trees, spread mulch on pathways, celebrate community, and enjoy the wonderful sounds, sights, smells of Sonoma in wintertime.

Give Back to Your Garden is a family friendly event; no previous experience or training necessary. Tools and gloves provided, though if you have extra pruners and loppers please bring them.

We hope to see you there!
