Climate Change and Sonoma Valley

one of the most severe threats to our valley and our community in the coming century is climate change. Loss of native plants and wildlife, sea level rise, increased risk of wildfire, more pests and disease, increased risk of flooding and drought, impacts to agriculture and viticulture-- all these impacts are likely to result from even moderate warming predicted in our region by climate models.

This page highlights information about climate change and links to important efforts to reduce the causes and impacts of climate change.
